Aarohan

A group of Nepali theater workers established Aarohan in 1981. Over the past two decades they have produced theater ranging from high-profile international stage classics to socially engaged street drama in village Nepal. The group includes some of the leading figures of Nepali theater and film, and has also involved in television and video, as well as training and workshops.

The group has long been involved in theater to provoke and cause discussion. Its experiments with forum theater are a new step in this direction.
