Introduction
SSDC was established in 1995 as a sports club, and has actively
involved itself in various social development activities since its
establishment. The main objective of SSDC has been to make the
communities empowered and uplift the socio-economic status of
rural poor and the disadvantaged communities through various
self-help promotion programs. Besides, SSDC has actively been
involved in supporting local NGOs in self-help promotion and
saving credit program in Kapilvastu with support from GTZ/NGO FUND
Project since last few years.
