Main objectives of partnership:
To encourage involvement and participation of community people and local Village Development Committees (VDCs) for strengthening democracy and equitable development in order to promote pluralism and gender sensitivity.

Present agreement expires:
November 2001

Concrete description of the joint partnership activities:
Institutional/organizational capacity building of SSDC by human resources development and establishment of management systems
and,
Through SSDC institutional/organizational capacity building of 8-12 local VDCs to support communities addressing their social development needs.
